Letter from the Admissions Director
Welcome to the admissions pages of our website! Chances are you have already been involved in the intensive and sometimes difficult process of determining the academic and social challenges of your child. Many students at Wolf have struggled in their previous school setting or demonstrated early on complex developmental and learning differences. Our goal in admissions is to determine whether we are an educational home, an educational fit for your child.
Our students are challenged by their complex learning profiles, but at Wolf, they are provided the necessary individual tools and small group supports to become successful learners. These supports are created through collaborative planning and problem solving as well as occupational and language therapies immersed in the curriculum. By addressing the interferences in social skills and academics, and helping students achieve an awareness of their learning profile, the students gain abilities to match their potential.
During the admissions process, we work to understand the educational journey of your child, his or her strengths and challenges, and your goals and concerns. At every step of the way, we welcome your questions. We believe a strong parent-school partnership is critical to success, and we strive to work together at the onset to help determine if Wolf is a fit for your child.
