Thanks to the generosity and support of many Wolf families, friends, corporations and foundations, we are pleased to announce the completion of our Decade of Difference Campaign! This exciting milestone campaign, led by Chad and Michelle White, Rose Malkin and William Corcoran, raised over $1 million to build a new middle school wing and establish an endowment for financial aid scholarships.
The new middle school wing, opened at the start of the 2009-2010 school year, created contiguous space for the Wolf middle school community, including a humanities classroom, a science/math classroom equipped with a lab, a fully renovated 6th grade classroom and shared social space. Also, the construction opened up space in the existing building for enhanced 4th and 5th grade instructional space, a spacious library/media/music room and an outdoor courtyard. Through this building project, we've indeed realized our vision of more optimal learning space for all Wolf School students, 1st through 8th grade. It has been most gratifying to see our students enjoying their new instructional and social space!
Our Decade of Difference Campaign also initiated Wolf's first ever endowment supporting financial aid. As the endowment grows, it will ensure that more students who could benefit from our educational model are able to do so, regardless of their socioeconomic situation. Therefore, we continue to accept gifts and pledges for this vital initiative. To learn more or make a gift, please contact Marie Esposito, Director of Institutional Advancement at (401) 432-9940 x11 or mesposito@thewolfschool.org.
We thank each and every contributor to the Decade of Difference Campaign for making a commitment that will have an enduring impact on the lives of Wolf School students for decades to come.
